Styled Buffet Catering Sydney

A casual and beautifully presented substantial meal. Our chefs will plate up your dishes on-site, then pop them on your table styled with our props and florals to look stunning! Best part, it comes with our compostable serveware, so there’s no crockery & cutlery fuss.

 

About our animal proteins:

Source matters.

We only use pasture-raised and/or organic meats sourced by our trusty ethical butchers - Harvest Stack, Whole Beast Butchery, Feather and Bone.

Same goes for fish. We have pledged to follow the GoodFish Sustainable Seafood Guide, and not serve any red-listed seafood. Our seafood is fully traceable using blockchain technology, facilitated by the legends at Harvest Stack, and some being sourced directly from the producer.

Our fish is sourced sustainably and ethically following the GoodFish Sustainable Seafood Guide. We have a formal commitment to not serve red-listed seafood, and can ensure full traceability of our stock. We also use every part of the fish, including heads, bones and collars to make rillettes, croquettes and other delicious bites.

  • Our Styled Buffet menu is perfect for occasions with a more casual vibe, so guests can go up to serve themselves at their leisure. It’s also an ideal choice for venues that don’t count on a proper kitchen, as our chefs will bring everything ready to be plated or served.

    Our dishes will be served on big, beautiful platters, displayed on a styled table with our props, heights and florals. In most cases, we will set it all up for you and then leave you to enjoy the party, and arrange collection of our platters for the next business day. However, depending on the size / length of your event, our chefs might remain onsite to replenish the dishes as they go, and pack down the platters with them before leaving.

    Although we include compostable / eco-friendly serveware with our Styled Buffet tables, you can also chose to hire proper crockery and cutlery, to add a special touch to the service.

  • Our buffet service is 100% eco-friendly. Here are some reasons why:

    • It includes compostable / eco-friendly serveware, which provides a ‘hassle free’ option if you’re not keen on hiring crockery & cutlery .

    • In most cases, especially if you don’t have a kitchen onsite, we can bring your dishes plated up and ready to go. To cover them up, we’ve ditched the plastic-based Gladwrap, and switched to a compostable alternative: Greatwrap.

    • We work with OurTrace to offset 100% of our carbon emissions - which includes our van full of deliciousness driving to your venue!

    • Lastly, our buffet menus abide by our food philosophy: we source meats from ethical butchers, follow the GoodFish Sustainable Seafood guide, use fresh & seasonal veg, and use every part of the ingredient - zero waste!

  • We are big believers in producing / cooking most things in house, and outsourcing only to small local producers who are masters in their craft. Luckily, we are surrounded by incredible artisans and small businesses that make amazing products. Some have been at it for many decades, like the Spanish charcuterie experts at La Boqueria, and some are just starting out now, like Sarah and her oat-based vegan cream cheese.

    We are committed to supporting this community of like-minded businesses, and shining the light on their products whenever we have them as part of our menus. We are proud to walk hand in hand with them - after all, we’re in this together.
